The Project:

We will embark on a cinematic event unlike any other. Using some of the most talented dancers within the tri-state area (and beyond), Man In Motion will produce a horrifying, Halloween-inspired dance video to share with all social media outlets.

A note from the producer/director: 

The video will contain choreographic and dramatic elements in the spirit of Halloween but will not feature outright violence or horrifying gore. The idea of the video is to give viewers a Halloween scare but in a very fun and artistic way.

What You Will Dance

Ages 13-18 will learn a hip-hop combination and should be prepared to do some contemporary improvisation. Ages 9-12 will learn a character jazz combination and may be asked to recite 2 lines from a script.

If selected, dancers MUST be available for a rehearsal at the same location on Sun. Sept 24 (the same day as the audition) from 2:30 - 4:30 PM.

Thing To Know:

-- Dancers may be required to provide their own face makeup or specified costume for the video shoot. 

-- The director, videographer, and production assistant will be on set to supervise the safety of all dancers during the shoot.

-- A signed video release will be required by a parent or guardian on the day of the shoot.
 
-- The video will serve as content to share with our social media followers and may be used to promote the Man In Motion brand, its events, or services. The video will not be sold for monetary value. 

-- There is no monetary compensation for participation. Participating dancers will receive a video file of their work and can use this professional experience for resume-building purposes.
