We are seeking a DANCE VIDEOGRAPHER | ASSISTANT CHOREOGRAPHER | ASSISTANT DIRECTOR to work on a 3-minute concept video for a dance studio in the Washington DC area (dancers ages 9-17). The video will be produced by Man In Motion. Travel required. Pay, hotel, and meal stipend provided.

Job Requirements

 

The treatment/concept for the video will be created by Man In Motion and the videographer will serve as a co-choreographer and assistant director. The videographer will shoot and edit the video, supplying their own video equipment and post-production/editing application.

​

• Must have experience and be very skilled at shooting video and editing video footage

​

• Must have strong choreography skills and be able to work with young dancers of all levels. Genres can include hip-hop, jazz, theatre-jazz, or contemporary

​

• Must reside in one of the following states: NY, NJ, DE, MA, DC, VA

​

• Must be available July 31 - August 4 (daytime rehearsals/shoot)

​

Compensation

 

The budget will be finalized in the weeks to come. Compensation will include:

​

• Flat fee (shoot) & hourly fee (rehearsals)

• Travel reimbursement

• Hotel

• Meal stipend
