Join us for a wonderful day of dance right in the heart of New York City, where young dancers (ages 9-18) will take center stage in, Dance In New York City - The Showcase.
Our showcase will feature some of the most talented dancers performing their own solo works, a group piece set by a guest choreographer, and special guest performances by NYC-based dance professionals.
Man In Motion will take over an intimate performance space located in Times Square and offer dancers an up-close and personal performance environment outside of their comfort zone. No trophies or prizes. This is all for the love of dance and building their confidence as a soloist and artist.

STEP 1
Audition Submission
Dancers will submit an audition video as part of the selection process. This video can be a sample of their work and does not have to be the solo intended for the showcase. Competition solos are also accepted.
Submit this form to reserve a spot. You will receive an email response with details on how to submit your video. The deadline for submitting your audition video is Saturday, November 25. All genres of dance are welcomed. Only a limited number of dancers will be selected to participate.
Panel decisions and written feedback on your audition will be sent via email on December 1. Submit the form now to reserve a spot.

STEP 2
Rehearsal & Coaching
Dancers who are accepted into the showcase will have a closed rehearsal on Dec 17 and/or Dec 27, where they will run their solo and receive in-studio feedback on all aspects of their work (performance skills, choreography, technique, etc.).
Dancers who choose to be a part of a group piece set by a guest choreographer will have an additional rehearsal on these dates.
STEP 3
Performance Showcase
SHOWTIME! Dancers will perform on Sunday, January 7, in a showcase will feature their solo work, a group piece set by a guest choreographer, and special guest performances by Broadway and other industry professionals. This will all take place inside of a performance space in the heart of Manhattan (Times Square Area).
