Man In Motion is auditioning intermediate/advanced dancers (ages 9-18) for a special pre-game performance during the Brooklyn Nets vs. Philadelphia 76ers game at the Barclays Center (March 5, 2024 | 7:30 PM Game).

The Barclays Center (located in Brooklyn, NY) is a large indoor arena (with a 17,700-seat capacity) that has hosted some of the world's most renowned performers, including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Madonna, and The Rolling Stones, and is the home of the Brooklyn Nets.

-- be ages 9-18
-- be skilled in jazz/hip-hop
-- be able to pick up choreography
-- be available on 3/5/24 and any mandatory rehearsal dates

Submit this form. Upon receipt of this form, we will email you all of the requirements for your audition submission. Requirements will include learning a jazz and/or hip-hop combination by video tutorial.

Please note: A nominal audition submission fee will apply and you will receive written feedback (via email) from the producer/choreographers on the audition video you submit. All information on rehearsal dates, call times, fees for participation, and access to tickets will be announced upon receipt of your form.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How many dancers will be selected?
We are accepting a maximum of 49 int/adv level dancers. 

When are decisions made?
Final decisions will be made no later than Feb 1. Your audition form must be sent no later than Jan 27 and your video submission must be sent no later than Jan 31.

When/where are the rehearsals?
You would need to attend at least ONE rehearsal on 2/17, 2/18, 2/19 (holiday), 2/24, OR 2/25. Rehearsals will be scheduled during the day/afternoon and will be held in either New York City or New Jersey depending on the rehearsal date(s) you select. A mandatory rehearsal will be held on 3/3 (NYC).

Is there a fee for the audition?
Yes! A nominal audition fee is required to hold your audition slot/review your video submission. The fee also includes written feedback (via email) from the producer/choreographers on the audition video you submit.

How do I get tickets for the performance/game?
Tickets are included in the experience and access to those tickets and/or any participation fees will be announced via email once chosen to perform. 

When does the performance take place?
The performance takes place before the game begins

Who will be playing at the game?
The Brooklyn Nets will play the Philadelphia 76ers in one of the last few games leading us to the NBA playoffs in April.
